About The Artist
Anuradha Chakradhar
Anuradha is based out of Hyderabad, Telangana, an engineer working as a Business analyst with a software company. She is a self taught artist, was passionate about drawing and colouring as a child and eventually fascinated by sketching played with shading despite minimum knowledge about different types of pencils. Developed a flair for charcoal art, she explored different mediums with charcoal and soft pastels.

Inspired by the realistic art started her art career in the year 2012 and worked on different mediums alongside charcoal and acrylic. Her early art was a formative stage of the current work inspired by Indian sculptures and temples.

She is also inspired by nature, mostly flowers and leaves. Her recent works also include conceptual art based on colour themes as she believes that the colour for a particular theme by itself is a metaphor of the artist’s thoughts.

BRIEF BIO
Anuradha Chakradhar is a contemporary artist, an engineer, studied psychology due to her sheer passion and interest in knowing the human behavior. Based out of Hyderabad, she lived most of her life in many parts of the country and is truly inspired by Indian culture. Started with realistic art, she eventually gained a fine interest in the conceptual art and currently working on the works purely based on the history and culture. She is also fascinated by the sculptures and temples around the globe, believes that every piece of art intend to deliver a story to the audience, either in terms of a mood through colors or by actual depiction of the instance via figures and patterns.

She participated in the Kalaa spandan art exhibition in the year 2022 (Mumbai), Haat of Art exhibition in the year 2024 in Pragati Maidan (Delhi) and received appreciation for her works. She was also a part of Art residency and displayed her art works in the Kalaa nirvana art gallery Bhubaneshwar in the year 2023. Alongside exhibitions and galleries, she has been undertaking some commissioned artworks successfully.
